Picking up a point

The team were spectacular from the first minute, and the atmosphere was also spectacular. We took the lead against one of the best teams around. They have good players, but we had the game there for the taking. The important thing is that we got a point and there is a long way to go this season.

A good performance

We had worked hard during the week to face great opponents. We worked in the best way and that was seen during 100 minutes. I am very happy in general, and also on a personal level.

Mestalla

The atmosphere is spectacular. Our fans were supporting us throughout the game. We were close to taking the three points.

Diakhaby’s injury

It was very ugly. The reaction of all the players shows as much. He is great both on and off the pitch and I wish him a speedy recovery.

Moving on to play Getafe

After this great game we have a boost with which to face the week and go for the three points.
